Consent  

 

By providing your personal information and credit information to Revra you consent to Revra collecting, holding, using, disclosing and otherwise handling your personal information and credit information in accordance with this policy.  

 

You do not have to provide any personal information and credit information to us, however if you do not do so Revra will not be able to provide Revra’s services to you, or consider your application for employment with Revra. 

 

 

What Kind of Personal Information and Credit Information Does Revra Collect?

How Does Revra Collect Your information? 

 

Revra may collect your information directly from you. This collection may take place through various means including (but not limited to): 

  • In person 

  • Telephone  

  • Email or letter correspondence 

  • Social media 

  • Any identification provided 

  • Revra’s website 

  • Surveys and/or questionnaires in connection with Revra’s services 

  • Completed and uncompleted online application forms 

  • When you undertake any monetary transactions with us in relation to Revra’s services

Revra may also collect your information from credit reporting bodies, credit providers and third-party collection agencies when Revra’s conduct a credit check on you, in which case it will collect your personal and credit information. 

 

If you provide any other person's personal information to us, you must ensure that they have consented to their personal information being provided to us for the relevant purposes set out in this Privacy Policy (for example participation in a nu mobile competition).

Revra may disclose your personal information and credit information to: 

  • Third parties engaged to perform administrative, promotional, information technology

  • Third parties engaged to store personal information and credit information collected by Revra

  • Third parties engaged to perform marketing services

  • Credit reporting bodies, credit providers and third-party collection agencies 

  • Third party payment system operators

  • Third parties if disclosure is required or authorised by law. 

 

Such a disclosure will always be on a confidential basis.  

 

In addition to the above, please note that a credit reporting body may include any of your personal or credit information, disclosed to it by us, in reports provided to other credit providers to assist them in assessing your creditworthiness. 

 

 

Disclosure of information outside Australia 

 

Revra may disclose personal information and credit information to overseas recipients engaged to perform administrative, promotional, information technology or other servicesThis may include cloud service providers, software providers, and third party payment system operators. 

 

When you provide your personal information to us, you consent to the disclosure of your information outside of Australia and acknowledge that Revra is not required to ensure that overseas recipients handle that personal information in compliance with Australian Privacy Law. Before disclosing any personal information and credit information to an overseas recipient, Revra will however take steps reasonable in the circumstances to ensure the overseas recipient complies with the Australian Privacy Principles or is bound by a similar privacy scheme to the Australian Privacy Principles.

In the event you do not wish to receive communications about products and services from Revra, you can opt-out by contacting Revra via support@revra.com.au or by calling +61 2 6018 3900 or through any opt-out mechanism contained in a communication. Opting out of receiving such communications will be free of any charge.

Revra may hold your information in either electronic or hard copy form. Revra takes reasonable in the circumstances to ensure that the personal information and credit information it holds is protected from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. However, as the transmission of information across the internet is not completely secure, Revra cannot guarantee the security of information provided via online means. Any such transmission is at your own risk. 

 

 

Can You Access and Correct the Personal information and credit information that Revra Holds About You? 

 

You may access and/or seek correction of your personal information and credit information that is collected and held by Revra.

You will not be charged for the making of a request to access your personal information and credit information or correcting your personal information and credit information.

Privacy Complaints 

 

At all times, privacy complaints submitted to Revra: 

  • will be treated seriously

  • will be dealt with in a confidential manner

  • will not affect your existing obligations or affect the commercial arrangements between you and Revra. 

 

Revra will commence an investigation into your complaint. You will be informed of the outcome of your complaint following completion of the investigation. 

 

In the event that you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your complaint, you may refer the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
